Geordie's popular School Tour travels from September 2009 to April 2010 across Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes. From James Bay to the Magdalen Islands, we bring theatre to schools, community centres and libraries, traveling an average of 27,000km each season. For many communities, Geordie brings their only opportunity to experience live theatre each year.

What does "Home" mean to you? Last year, Geordie posed this question to elementary-school students from 5 different schools in and around Montreal, as part of a collaborative creation process called “From You to Us to You”. With their stories, words, and drawings, the Geordie team created a fresh new play to bring back To You. Once Upon a Home is written from the real voices of children in Quebec, reflecting their diverse histories, families and imaginations – every word spoken onstage was written by a child.
* Public Performance *- January 16, 2010 (10:30am) at Centaur Theatre. For tickets, call (514) 288-3161.

Trent is a 16-year-old marijuana smoker who doesn’t get the detrimental effect that getting high is having on his life. Desperate, his fed-up father offers a bribe to youth-care worker Rayzee so that he can eavesdrop on Trent's drug assesment.
Rayzee and Trent’s encounter is full of great debate on issues that have to do with way more than drug use. Smokescreen is not just a play on marijuana; it explores the complexities within issues of obsession, addiction, control fear and understanding, and leaves it to the viewer to find the answers.
