The following questions were asked by a Grade 2 class after a performance of A Promise is a Promise
How much did the equipment cost?
The most expensive thing we use is our laptop, that we use to play all our sound effects.
How old are you?
We're all in our early twenties. We all just finished university last year.
How did you make the costumes?
Our director works with a designer to decide what the costumes should look like. The designer then worked with a seamstress who sews or buys the costumes. Some things were easy to make, while others were trickier; the Qualipiluit mask had to be built with latex from a plaster cast of Chris' face, for example.
Where do you live?
We all live in Montreal, where Geordie is based.
How many schools have you been to?
We've been to over 100 schools, all over Quebec, in New Brunswick, Ottawa and PEI. We'll have gone to another hundred before we're done in April.
How many Qualipiluit are there all together?
There are three Qualipiluit in out version of the story. In the storybook though, there are four.
Can I have your autograph?
Kids often ask us for our autographs after shows and we're happy to give them out. Sometimes everybody wants our autographs, and we just don't have enough time.....but usually, we feel like movie stars.
